Abstract

Section 27 of “Faith, Sexism, and Justice: A Call to Action†advocates widening and deepening the language with which we address and describe God. Gail Ramshaw explains why this is a worthy goal and offers rich suggestions and practical resources for how to expand our language to and about God.

Retired professor of religion and past president of the academy. Her most recent publication is Word of God, Word of Life: Understanding the Three-Year Lectionaries (Minneapolis:Augsburg Fortress, 2019).
