Abstract

Moving from “object of our mission” to partners in ministry, all God’s people are called to think about the why and how of mission. Using Scripture, life’s experiences, and the Global Mission “Accompaniment” model of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Pastor Schock advocates for interdependence and mutuality for all.

Twila Schock, Christ Lutheran Church, Belvidere, Illinois

Twila Schock has served as a missionary in Slovakia, Germany, and Russia for twelve years, worked as Director of Global Mission Support for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and currently serves as pastor at Christ Lutheran Church in Belvidere, Illinois.
