Abstract

The articles in this issue engage the challenges of Christian nationalism through historical, theological, biblical, and anthropological perspectives. The authors criticize the racist, antidemocratic, and exploitative politics fueled by Christian nationalist ideology that distorts interpretation of the Bible and theology to support authoritarian rule in the United States at the 250th anniversary of the country's founding. Preaching Helps and Book Reviews complete the issue.
